The atheist community is large and it is growing, but sadly many atheists feel it is hard to come out and accept their belief, many for the reason that they don’t know that there are other people out there dealing with the same issues they are. Come out and stand for your beliefs. Show the world that there are more of us than there are of them, and most importantly show other atheists that there is no reason to fear coming out. We should be proud of where we stand. Come out, reach out, speak out, keep out, stand out, and reblog to show your support!

I consider myself an athiest. It’s weird to identify myself with a group because, especially when dealing with atheism (the very meaning is to NOT have a theology), every person has different opinions and conclusions and different ways they’ve gotten there. I’m reblogging so that other young athiests can know they are not alone and that it’s okay to come to your own conclusions about religion.

Just as a disclaimer (because sometimes it’s necessary), I do not have anything against people who do believe in and worship a god. My only problem is with religion and the way it is abused and misused.  I have plenty of friends who do believe in God and I love them no less for that. (And hopefully they love me no less for my heathen nature?) lol
