NYAHHHHH!!!!: The Side Effects I Experienced While On Yaz Birth Control

I heard about this, and because I am on Yaz I went to my doctor right away. He proceeded to ask if I was having any symptoms, I said no, and then told me not to worry about it. He said he would put his own daughter on it.
And the first time I was told I had poly cystic ovarian syndrome they told me it wouldn’t be a problem. Hahaha. But, seriously, you may not have problems with it. Apparently there are some people that don’t react awfully to this stuff. But when it’s causing so many very serious problems, ( such as deep vein thrombosis, cardiac arrest, …death apparently) for so many people, I start to consider that drug as poison. I do not feel that our drugs are tested as fully as they should be or for as long as they should be. And I was headed down a very dark path of depression that very well could have ended in my death if my family hadn’t swooped in before it got to that point. So I don’t think it’s something that should be brushed off as casually as your doctor did. Just keep this list of side effects handy. Make sure you’re not feeling out of sorts. It was a really slow build to something awful for me because, well, the show had to go on. And so did I.
